Doe a deer

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a lovely day! I can't believe Christmas day has come and gone and I've been home nearly two weeks! Time's flown so fast! I've been loving the wintery festive season (& getting away with even more glitter than usual!) and drawing lots of wintery creatures!

Christmas day me & Craig made epic amounts of vegetarian sushi as we decided we wanted a Japanese style Christmas dinner this year! We also had lots of my dad's homemade damson gin which was super delish! It's been brewing with fruit from the garden and is a gorgeous pink purple colour now and so super fruity nomm!

I got some really beautiful pressies. Craig got me an excellent cushion like fox called Edward, an old fashioned hardback diary with a deer on, a beautiful book and a bell jar.  I also got lots of lovely little things with deer and sparkles eee & my wonderful friend Lor even made me a pink collar with deer on!...and from my mum & dad a new phone yay! All very exciting! I think everyone loved their little homemade bits and things too!

This past month I've been working on some deer illustrations to make into prints...Let me know what you think! x x

Lavender deer's darling

So I finally finished in London! Feels like it's gone crazily fast, had my last day with all the lovely Tatty Devine ladies on Friday, ending with the Christmas Bash which was white and sparkly themed (my dream come true!) & I got a beautiful unicorn necklace as a leaving gift which I've been in love with for aggeeees! (will post picture soon!). I'm going to miss it so much, felt properly part of the family and everyone was so much fun to work with, wahhh!

I came straight back to my friends wedding party at the weekend which was really beautiful. He's marrying a lovely lady called Yuko he met in Japan (the story of their meeting is like a fairytale....she works in a flower shop and he worked in a restaurant and they were opposite each other!). Anyways, he's come back to get married on Christmas eve but had a little bash prior to it. It was held in his old school hall and it was all decked out with fairy lights and homemade indian food and drinks, and my boy Craig did all the tunes, saw so many people I realised I hadn't seen in faaaaar too long and had much needed catchup!

Today I'm finally back home for the first time properly in months and getting cracking with last minute Christmas preparations! I've been making some lavender scented reindeer decorations for some of my friends and family, inspired by the wonderful 'Mollie Makes' magazine, hope you like!

bambi, crafty deers & disney

This past week I've been workings at the Tatty Devine stall at the clothes show, which has been both crazy and fun! I got poorly so didn't make it to the final day which was a shame, result of a mad couple of weeks! But I loved being there and met lots of really lovely crafty people, and had a wonderful time with the other lovely Tatty ladies selling tons of gorgeous jewellery! We were making custom name necklaces with a laser cutter live at the show... and I couldn't resist getting a new one, so I got 'Bambi', which is so sparkly and makes me feel super happy & christmassy! Check out bamb's rocking it....

The stall next to ours was doing these beautiful paper cut out eyelashes, including ones with miniature stags on, which I got done one morning...wish I could wear them every day! Heres me with my lashes & necklace!....
Having a disney marathon as I go so far I've watched Peter Pan & Enchanted and am feeling like I want to just cover everything in big mounds of glitter and pixie dust!
