Super busy couple of weeks so sorry for the lack of posting! Here's one little exciting venture that happened recently, collar with Mister DRESS - UP so one of my designs will be available on their wonderful site for one month only - It's about $20, it's a company based in Montreal who work with lots of different artists producing their illustrations as t-shirt design, excited to be a part of it! Margot Blush Crush ♡
Margot Tenenbaum has to be one of my ultimate favourite film characters out there. Like many of Wes Anderson's characters, she has a signature look which has been well developed, but also through her actions and dress sense, Margot's a distinguished state of mind. She's perfectly troubled and deeply concealing of her feelings, keeping secrets from herself & her family, until the realisation hits her that she's not following her heart. There's something imminently loveable about her. The pastel colours chosen for her beautiful wardrobe are reflective of her delicate concealed characteristics behind that huge fluffy camel coat. She's definitely a big wardrobe muse. Here's a little Margot inspired collage and my latest illustration now available in my shop >> ♡♡ ETSY ♡♡ << as a homage to the wonderful Margot.....

If your Wes Anderson fan then no doubt you'll be as ridiculously excited as I am for the new film..

A few little additions to my Etsy shop :) Been watching lots of films recently (new'uns & old favs) so thought I'd draw my two favourite actors and make them into mini prints for my shop. Firstly heres Steve Zissou (Bill Murray) from the wonderful Wes Anderson's Life Aquatic:
And the best film heartthrob out there..the lovely Gosling as a pink mini print..
& lastly Kristofferson cards :)
Why not treat yourself to a little cute something!

What kind of bird are you? ♡
So I've just got back from a super sunny weekend seeing so many of my favourite people - and my favourite boy, in Brighton, which was a big happy time filled with gin, seaside and picnics! After booking it months ago the time had finally come for me and craig to go see Moonrise Kingdom at the wonderful Duke of York - and it lived up to every expectation - it's gone straight into my favourite films!
Everything about it was quintessential Wes Anderson perfection - I was every bit in love as much as Tenenbaums.
It was so super cute, and had dreamy 60's outfits to die for so I had a great big smile on my face the whole way through - if you haven't seen it I think you should - immediately! It'll make you so happy and summer filled (:
I've done a new mini movie poster (they are super small and cute!), based on the two main characters, and I'm thinking of putting a few in my shop soon!....
My mini posters printed...
Dreamy stills...
(Suzy's outfits are TOO good!)
There is lots more I'd currently like to blog about, but think I'll save it for some different posts so this doesn't get too beasty! Hope you enjoyed reading & your all having wonderful days! Heres the trailer if you haven't seen it! Lots of love x x x
