The first bells of christmas sparkle ♡

So yesterday (yes I know its early) was the first time I started to feel a little bit christmassy! Me and my housemates watched Love Actually and made mulled wine, got a ton of blankets and candles and I packaged up the first batch of my little christmas cards I've been working on for my Etsy which are available now HERE <3

They are each based on a different winter wonderland animal :) & are super sparkly and covered in candy canes! - I've spent many hours recently hand painting on all the glitter! Anyways...here they are! I hope you like! Have wonderful weekends everyone!

Super busy couple of weeks for me! & no doubt it's only going to get busier! Been doing lots and lots of drawing for my final major project (eeeek!) and trying to write my dissertation (double eeek!) - on the wonderful Tim Walker. I'm TOO excited to go and see his exhibition this week! - I will definitely be blogging about that soon!

I'm also going to be part of an exciting exhibition in Brighton called 'Ghosts of gone birds' organised for me by the wonderful MoonKo, I'll post more on this later in the week! This post is a bit of a pic n mix!...

For now heres a snippet of a drawing I've been working on....

Sparkles & Corgis - Jubilee celebrations ♡

So the Queen's reached an incredible 60 years on the throne! Mum's just put up lots of bunting and we've finished getting the nibbles and bits for tomorrows small Jubilee family party to watch it all on tv! Definitely a time to get the Pimm's out! (despite the rain and rubbish weather).

The more I think about it the Jubilee really is a beautiful moment for our country and a chance for everyone to get together to celebrate a really special lady who has been through so much and always been such a great representation of our nation. I didn't realise until recently much about Queen Elizabeth II at all, like the fact she was thrown into governing the country at such a young age of 26.

I've never really gotten into Royal Celebrations much, I didn't get much chance with the Royal Wedding as was far away from my family/friends at the time, so in being home I thought I'd try & get into the spirit of things and make my family each a handmade glittery corgi card (: Here's a little snapshot of them..

& I had a go at illustrating a full corgi too (:

& here's the queen when she's little with a super cute corgi!

& our beautiful queen <3 Always so incredibly graceful and beautiful,

I hope you all have magical & fun celebrations whatever your doing over the bank holiday weekend!
I'm having a huge clothing clear out on ebay if anyone fancy's looking! I am ( little.pink.antlers)

Unicorns, Tiaras & Flower Crowns♡

So I have been a bit absent from blogging for quite a while - I've had quite a busy up and down couple of weeks (both in travelling brum-london-brighton) and also emotionally due to the super sad passing of my lovely auntie joan.

But I'm focussing on the magical wonderful moments and times, and its really kick started me into wanting to do more with every day, so I've embarked again on quite a few little sewing projects & also with some new drawings!

I also spent last weekend reunited with lovely Tatty Devine ladies working at the super sample sale, & doing some exciting work with one of my favourite prop designers. Here's a mini collage of things recent:

Top Row: Me & Emily at Tatty Devine wearing the gorgeous new Tiara's Tatty has made for the Jubilee, I totally fell in love with the turquoise (bit of a branch out from my usual pinkness) & am now the happy owner of one, second picture is it in all it's sparkle in box, Sleeping Beauty when the prince finds here (will always be one of my favourite films and this scene is just so perfect!).

Second Row: A yellow and rose headband I made from the old tatters of a crown I'd gotten at glastonbury - I filled it with lots of new flowers ready to be worn again (:, A sneaky peak of the first of my new enchanted princess style drawings & my floral headband making kit - petals, wire, various roses, all scattered on my bed.

Third Row: The result of my floral headband making session for summer, this was the one with the most beasty flowers,  I now have about 5! (more photos on instagram - rosepetaldeer), A gorgeous copy of Sleeping Beauty & one of my headbands drying out on my bunny light (: (they were on every surface at one stage).

Fourth Row: One of my favourite Tim Walker Shoots - Vogue Christmas 2004, I've spent quite a long time recently in Brighton libary looking through old vogues finding all his original shoots as pre planning for my dissertation - I ended up spending hours and hours just transfixed by too many distracting editorials - This particular one saw Tim take up pretty much half of Vogue with a Pantomime themed shoot which was so enchanting - the props are just insane - I can't even begin to imagine the work in setting it all up!, Me at the Tatty sale in my Tiara, some gorgeous pink petaled flowers.

Fifth  Row: A beautiful illustration from an old children's book about a unicorn, The lisbon sisters (a photograph in a 90's vogue talking about the film pre it coming out) & a little drawing I did of a rainbow unicorn (:

Hope your all having beautiful weekends and managed to enjoy the glimmer of sunshine I caught a bit of today! I will hopefully be posting much more regularly again now my head is a little less scrambley <3

A final note - a picture of my auntie looking super beaut at her wedding - She was such an amazing person with a truly fantastic heart, I have no doubt that she's in a wonderful place, RIP,

A mystical land of mermaid's & a dose of pastel loving - April favourites♡

Hello lovelies! Hope your all having a lovely month of April so far - can't believe how time flies & I haven't blogged anything in over a week! I've spent the past week down in Falmouth on holiday with the fam which has been super lovely,

so nice to just watch the waves and relax! Feeling even more super inspired by all things mermaid and pastel combo's, so thought I'd make a little collage of my current favourites! Hope you like!..

From Top Column (From Left): 'Moonrise Kingdom' - the new wes anderson film which is out next month..& I am VERY excited about, everything about it looks true to his usual fantastic style and form - so beautiful - I can't stop watching the trailer for the clothes, dreamy colours and pretty tune..ahh wish it would come out already! Beautiful sea shell/ underwater inspired jewellery, looking like it came straight out of a mermaid's chest, I definitely need a pretty piece soemthing along these lines to wear with long lacey dresses & turquoise & gold glitter nails in summer months! <3, Pastel Horses/decorative things - so spring like I am so attracted to all nic naks pastel coloured and detailed at the moment <3

Second row: Bag of dreams! (If anyone knows where its from please inform!), sugar pink shell shaped with a long gold clasp, the perfect accessory to fulfil current mermaid dreams! Mini Blythe mermaid - HOW CUTE! I love her turquoise hair, actually considering adding some turquoise to mine at some stage but might have to just get a wig (don't think I could move away from pink for too long!), Long beautiful blended pastel hair - this is just too perfect & mermaid-y in itself!

Third row: Charlotte Free (again) in perfect editorial - plush pink sofas, sparkly lavender socks - love it!, The disney little mermaid - because part of your world is one of my ultimate favourites! - and I can't watch it enough <3, Gorgeous sea shell inspired bra-let (again if anyone knows where it's from?) - too perfect!, I can see it with a long flowy skirt and some sparkly platforms ee <3

Fourth row: BIG marie antoinette hair, with pastel flowers and feathers and loose - proper mermaid style, Very fluffy skirts/ Cardi's - like wearing a giant ball of fluff - perfect to liven up an outfit I so need something in this description!..and finally...another wildfox lookbook I can't get enough of..rainbow pastel cats...cotton candy hair and matching candy can <3 They're just too good!

Hope you all have wonderful inspiring weekends full of lots of sugary treats and family times! <3 Have a lovely easter! To finish here's a little candy carousel I doodled recently...
