Miss Cherie, Blossom & Daydreams♡

This time of year is my absolute FAVOURITE (: (especially when we're blessed which such gorgeous sunshine!) The blossom trees are out in all their bloom and all I want to do is spend my days picnic-ing and drinking elderflower wine and fizzy pink lemonade in the garden and park <3.  Me and Craig had an epic picnic the other day complete with disney princess squash, and it was so hot I started to get sun stroke! (I have super pale skin!)

Every year at this time when all the flowers start to come out, and an array of blossom fills the lane by where I live I start feeling super happy that depressing winter is drawing to a close! My favourite perfume always comes out around this time too, as summer dresses are starting to get worn. Miss Dior Cherie is the ultimate girl's dream fragrance <3
I loved it when the first advert came of (Sofia fiend that I am!), but also fell completely in love with the Natalie Portman one last year - which the gorgeous images from are starting to surface in Spring magazines again.

Natalie definitely has the finesse and delicacy of a Cherie girl <3 In my spare time over the passing weeks therefore I decided she would be the basis of a new illustration (: The perfect girl for spring!

Here's the beautiful ad...

Here's the pinboard from the beautiful ad <3, ah it's all so pretty!

& Sofia on the shoot of the first advert <3

& the original dreamy advert <3

Hope your all having a magical time enjoying the sunshine! Get some macaroons, put a floaty dress on and dance around to Bridgette Bardot <3 Enjoy spring lovelies!  Lots of Love ! x x x

Mascara runnin' down her little Bambi eyes♡

Completely obsessing over Lana Del Rey, her album's just pure magic, I've got a couple of new illustrations of her as part of my new candy girls I've been working on, though I'd share them on this sunny Sunday! <3

In love with this photo shoot too, just found an old headband I made out of huge fake roses, definitely want to make some sort of matching collar/cape thing to wear this spring <3

Lovely Lana lyric's from my favourite song this is why they call us girls..

'Sweet sixteen and we had arrived
Baby's table dancin' at the local dive
Cheerin our names in the pink spotlight
Drinkin' cherry schnapps in the velvet night'

Hope you like! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday's beauties! These will both be available as prints in my etsy...Rose Petal Deer Shop so keep a beady eye (: <3 Lots of love! x x x

Let them eat cake, a world of girly pink goodness ♡

Hi lovelies! So I've been working on so many bits and pieces recently, really need to get round to blogging it all!
I did a couple of commissions for the wonderful Audrey Grace Boutique, a delightful little shop in America run by the lovely Jaclyn.

This is the first, which I absolutely loved doing, a sparkly poster based on Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. Marie Antoinette is probably my ultimate style icon, and Sofia's version of her is just too lovely, ever since I first watched the film I've dreamed about the exquisite long lacy dresses and gorgeous shoes. The cakes and colours, and candy popping brilliance just is so hard to beat! <3

Absolutely LOVE Kirsten's hair when it's all peachy with roses, one of best bits of styling I've ever come across <3

Been watching the film lots recently (bit like a bible for me (: )  It's making me excited for spring to be able to wear long lacy things again and lie in grass drinking nice summery drinks and having picnics!...

Jaclyn has done some super lovely styling akin to the dreamy vibes of spring time too, I can't stop looking at some of her styling shoots, particularly this dreamy girl and flowers, so many pretty things!...It's all here..Audrey Grace Boutique..

I'm feeling incredibly candy-fied today. I've been working on a whole series of candy girls, lots of pink paper, glitter and pastel things and pencils were involved! My bed is looking like a big sparkly mess! Here's a little sneaky peak of one of the drawing's I've been working on!...
Hope your all having lovely week's! My mum told me today that some of the trees are starting to blossom in our village so think I might venture out and try take some pretty snaps tomorrow <3 Love Springtime!

Looking forwards to the weekend too, when Craig is coming home and we're having a Japanese style picnic with fizzy wine for my birthday celebrations (: Happy times!

OO & In other exciting news, two absolute darling lovelies have featured me on their blogs,

The wonderful Natasha of 'The Secret Tea Party' ...The Secret Tea Party Blog
& lovely Poppy of Poppy Lauren Vintage Poppy Lauren Vintage

Both are regular reads of mine and are absolutely gorgeous! & they are both such nice ladies too!

Have a look (:

 Lots of love! x x x

Kirsten as Antionette♡

Hello beauties! Been meaning to post more new drawings but they're still in progress, so though instead I'd show you my print (available soon I promise!) on my wall, with my wonderous new japanese heart washi tape! Kirsten is one of my favourite actresses of all time, and is perfect at playing the romantic delicate type with an edge.

Had a coppola night last night with Craig where I re-watched Marie Antoinette for the millionth time and was reminded of why it shall always be a complete fav, the romantic dreamy colours, lavish ruffley costumes and the whole fantastical dream of being in Versailles in the Rococo era just send me dreaming  everytime. Thought I'd post a selection of gorgeous photos from the film with my drawing!

Lots of Love! Happy month of pink (:

Welcome to my wonderland

The past few days I've been hibernating, getting inspired, using lots of glitter and hunting through lots of blogs!

Saw my wonderful friend Byng for the first time in ages the other night and we had a crafty sesh attempting to make antlers & pom pom's (neither are finished of yet!..the pom pom's ended up slightly disastrous and resembling small snails aha!) but it was heaps of fun & made me definitely want lots more crafting times!

I thought I'd do a little post a picture of what my little world looks like..(and all the drawings are magic'd!) !.. Here's my bed (sitting on which I do most of my general crafting/drawing activities!), I always have lots of boards scattered around like the one next to my bed full of photos/inspiring things I love....

I also have a continual inspiring wall section on my wardrobe full of all sorts of pretty treats (:

And my bookcase where I store all my Jewellry/assortments of beads/sparkles etc..always gets incredibly busy!

I've been working on a few little bits. I decided I want to use more flowers within my work, so began by attempting a magical rose (inspired by beauty & the beast...of course!). I'm still getting used to crayon..so drastically different from the trusty rotring pen! But I quite like the initial result..what do you think?

I'm also part through a little Sleeping Beauty project of  drawings that I'll post about soon, but for now here's a little fairy type I did for two special little ladies Iola & Ursula (:

In my determination to not let the drab month of January affect me I've been keeping up my new years resolutions of small creative projects every day! (:

The past few days I've been slightly battling with the process of making a peter pan collared shirt, so far not much has happened  except the cutting process but I'll keep you updated! Hope you all have wonderful weeks! Lots of Love
