Valentines Day Snow Time ♡ ハッピーバレンタイン

Seing as it's valentines month, & pink, cute and sugary things are everywhere, expect a lot of sweet infused posts!! - Valentines day here is divided, 14th February is all about the boys with the girls giving them presents! - and then 14th March all about the girls! - with boys giving them presents, so the shops are filled with super cute candies, pinkness and big cakes for a much more prolonged period! I got Craig cute panda chocolates and a Henry Darger book ♡  

We spent valentines (boys) eve in a busy Shibuya pub in the snow, after everything started to close earlier due to the thick slushy snow everywhere - apparently very rare for Tokyo! We spent it with with one of Craig's school friends we bumped into by chance! - the way home was so crazy - with upto 30+ cm of snow in parts of Meidaimae, I could kneel in it! haha, Hope you like the photos! Shibuya looked so crazy in all the snow! So so beautiful! ♡

Higashi Matsubara Wanderings ♡

So on one of my days off this week, I had a wander around my neighbourhood backstreets to Shimokitazawa, I still can't get over the beautiful nature of the buildings and plants and flowers, I can't wait to see them in different seasons! In the cold wintery-ness of the day - just after snow day, the air was really really chilly, and everything was bare, but the shapes and colours just so pretty - so inspiring! Hope you like!

Tokyo Snow Day ♡

So this weekend Tokyo had what many locals have told me has been the worst snow for 20 years! It's apparently very rare, and it landed upon us on Friday night/Saturday day time - about 20-25 cm! & covered everything in a snowy white blanket. Walking home on Saturday night was a totally crazy experience in the midst of a snow storm!! - but very pretty! - almost impossible to see or even hold up an umbrella though! The first bells of christmas sparkle ♡

So yesterday (yes I know its early) was the first time I started to feel a little bit christmassy! Me and my housemates watched Love Actually and made mulled wine, got a ton of blankets and candles and I packaged up the first batch of my little christmas cards I've been working on for my Etsy which are available now HERE <3

They are each based on a different winter wonderland animal :) & are super sparkly and covered in candy canes! - I've spent many hours recently hand painting on all the glitter! Anyways...here they are! I hope you like! Have wonderful weekends everyone!
