A little bit of my Tokyo December ♡

MERRY CHRISTMAS lovely`s! My month has been super busy with my new job doing craft and english activities with little kids (so cute but so hectic!) But thought I`d post a few little photos from the past month! - So excited for my few days of Christmas hold next week and to get working on the new artwork ideas I have piling up and also - finally reopening my Etsy, anyways hope you all have a  lovely Christmas!

The cutest kids baking cafe in Koenji which was like something out of a Disney film - the decor was so so cute and candy-fied I couldn't cope haha, they do little cooking workshops with kids and there is pretty baking things and cakes everywhere wahhh!

Dreaming of Nara 奈良♡

Back in August I went to beautiful Nara, which was possibly the most magical place I`ve ever been to, it was such a beautiful place of hidden gems and deer literally everywhere (there was a huge deer park with about 2000 of them), I could have stayed there for ages but we only did a little day trip as it was so close from Kyoto. Here`s a few photos I`ve been meaning to post for ages ♡

Exhibition Design Festa Gallery Harajuku / Design Festa ギャラリー ♡

Tomorrow is the final day of my three day first exhibition in Harajuku`s Design Festa Gallery (11th - 13th), it`s such a cute little gallery with a wide range of artists and I`ve loved having a little space there, feels like the first steps towards a creative filled life (one day *dreams*), my lovely friends have given me so much support and it`s been nice to try and get a bit of my world out there, especially in Tokyo, which I feel lucky to call home, here`s a little glimpse into things, if your in Tokyo and around tomorrow please come say hello! Cateriam Cat Cafe ♡

A few weeks back I went to Cateriam with my friend Nat who was visiting from England - it's a cat cafe near where I live in Shimokita, it was my second time to visit a cat cafe, and this one was definitely much better than the big Shinjuku one I visited last time. It's pretty small and both the owners and the cats are super lovely! - and you are allowed to cuddle them (bonus!). There were maybe 20 different cats, my favourite was a ridiculously white fluffy one who I was told was 'danger cat' as he likes to nip unsuspecting visitors haha, I had a good cuddle with him though! Here's a few photos of some cat brilliance ♡

This little guy was just ridiculous, he kept pulling the best faces ♡

and this cheeky boy insisted on sitting next to the sink you have to wash your hands in, and kept trying to drink from the taps ♡

Meirie's beautiful Trunk Show Exhibition in Tokyo ♡

One of my favourite artists on instagram had an adorable little show in Tokyo last week that I just had to go and take a look at, she hand embroiders and makes beautiful silk cushions, and her style is a mix of 1950's american and parisian influence and super pretty, there were lots of cute bits she'd collected from travels around Europe to sell.

She was so super lovely and told me one of her main influences was the wonderful Frida Karlo, hope you like the cute photos! ♡
