京都 Kyoto & all it`s dreaminess ♡ 私が今まで訪れた中で最も美しい場所のひとつ
So a blog post is so looooong overdue, I`ve been crazy busy recently, with moving apartments and also changing jobs (starting as a kindergarten teacher eeeek!) & been meaning to post all about my incredible spiritual trip to Kyoto with the fam, these photos don`t really do it much justice, and I plan to make big changes to my blog soon, as being both a vegan and creative and lover of landscapes and beautiful places and also fashion, it feels like theres always too much to post about! - so expect big changes soon! For now here`s just a little sort of photo diary of some of the most beautiful spots on my trip! It was incredibly hot when we visited (about 38 degrees!! - my pale skin suffered quite a bit with heat stroke!!) But everything was so lush and green and surprisingly not too busy - I think because we visited just about the Japanese `Obon` holiday so the rush had passed (In the middle of August) Anyway... - I hope you enjoy!

中目黒 Nakameguro さくら ♡
♡ 桜愛した増す ♡
Possibly the most beautiful place I have ever been - Nakameguro in full blown Sakura season, it was like a complete sea of the most beautiful pink flowers, the whole riverside was bustling with stalls and people enjoying 花見 (Sakura picnic) There was such a magical vibe, heres a bit of sakura spam for you ♡
Delicious Sakura Snack (Rice & Azuki Bean syrup) mmmm!
A few snaps of other parts of Nakameguro, the entire area is so unbelievably photogenic, I could've spent hours just wandering! ♡
The other night we went to Nakameguro by night for Sakura viewing as well, all the branches were lit up giving the whole sky and flowers an ever pinker glow ♡ too beautiful - Here's a few snaps albeit a bit blurry from a rather Hanami filled day! (drinking under the blossom!)!
Me & my lovely friend Yuko ♡
Definitely the prettiest season I've ever seen, love you Tokyo! ♡ x x x x

Le Voyage dans la lune ♡
So last night I finaaally got round to watching Hugo, hands down one of the most magical and amazing films I've seen in a long time! It had the perfect balance between really hilarious moments, and parts that were so enchanting I started to get teary - what's even more amazing is that in very large part the story is true. It was so beautiful realising how ones man's beautiful dreams happened - and how he was a pioneer of film to showcase the make believe and as a medium of art - it was spellbinding and seriously inspiring!
Having always been a massive Air fan, when they created a soundtrack to the beautiful fairytale like film Le Voyage dans la lune by Georges Melies, I had to watch & listen straight away. (Hugo is about Melies life)
The film was originally made in 1902 and has just been finished in it's remastered state - a process which has taken a seriously long time! The results are so gorgeous and dreamy though! I can't stop watching it and wanting to be in that dream world <3 Here are some shots from Le Voyage dans la lune
Hope your all having lovely weeks! Lots of love x x x
