Spring vibes ♡

Hello beautiful people! Sorry for again the absence, so much life change & things to think about at the moment, Spring in Tokyo is just starting to get lovely though, and heating up nicely, the sakura will be blooming next week & the cold days are drawing to a close - make way for the crazy heat to ensue! I`ve spent my free time over the last few months taking up lots of new crafting activities, and trying to stay creative in new ways. I found the absolute craft shop of my dreams so am continually creating new hair clips, pom poms and other random bits and bobs. My first challenge was learning Japanese finger knitting with this gorgeous pink chunky yarn, heres some of my recent crafting anyway...& some yummy veggies I`ve been learning to cook♡

One of my favourite vegan cute places ♡

& super cute decor...

Vintage blythe heaven I discovered recently too (so many shops full of second hand blythes - I died) haha

& lastly some spring flowers from a recent appearance in a friends music video ♡

Hope everyones having wonderful weeks ♡ Lots of love x x x x

Junie Moon & Curly Collective in Daikanyama ♡

Daikanyama is one of my absolute favourite places to go in Tokyo, there are so many beautiful shops, hidden galleries and nice window displays, and an abundance of creativity and cuteness ♡ Two of my favourites are Junie Moon (The amazing Blythe Store - which I love just going to see their window displays and shop decoration which frequently changes ♡) and Curly Collective, a super cute pink filled fabric and craft store full of cuteness! I'm sure I'll be posting much more on Daikanyama but here's a few snaps around Daikanyama filled with Blythe and kawaii goodness:

Hope you enjoy the photos! Lots of love x x x

Brighton wonderland & ghostly girls ♡

Afternoon lovelies! Hope you've all had magical weekends! The last few weeks feel like a bit of a whirlwind of getting everything sorted and settled back in Brighton as I mentioned in my previous post!

New things are starting to appear in my shop though : MY ETSY <3

My room is now feeling a lot more like home & I feel properly back into my illustrating! Thought I'd do a little post with a glimpse into my world :) & a few of my newest little drawings of ghostly forest girls I'm working on. If you follow me on instagram @rosepetaldeer you might have seen some of it already <3

I love to surround myself with everything that inspires me so my room is always a continually developing big pink collage of taped up prettiness :)

Me & Tigerlilly Rose <3 My favourite thing I brought back from Tokyo...

The puff here was from a super cute little shop in Brighton, me and my housemates have since discovered how to make them and gone puff making crazy! I'll post a bit about our little house soon so you can see :)

Tokyo : Part Two ♡

Carrying on from where I left off, the reason we decided we should push our Tokyo dreams to happen was so go to the wedding of our lovely friends Owain and Yuko - their wedding was so super cute - pink flowers everywhere and Yuko looked super pretty...
Everyone had mini polaroids taken as a memento <3

The most beautiful nightclub I've ever been to....every surface was filled with deer heads, chandeliers, and mirrors and drinks called kittys - white wine and ginger ale (so yum) :D

The Rainbow Bridge on the way to Odaiba town, pretty skies, boats with little lanterns and just super prettyness!

Us on the bridge...

My favourite shop I think I've ever been in..like a miniature dollhouse shaped cave of handmade pink goodness <333

The Blythe Shop - Junie Moon, I loooooove Blythe - (more Blythe related postage to come soon),
so this was ridiculously exciting for me, everything about the shop was just beautiful!

& to finish off this little post....Hello Kitty's Kawaii Paradise, a sea of pink and everything kitty (so cute wahhh!!)

Hope you like! Disneyland post & an update on my last illustration project will be coming soon! Lots of love! x x x x x

Tokyo : Part One ♡

So I'm finally back from the what was like my ultimate dreamworld !!! (sorry for lack of blogging recently) Tokyo was ahhhh-mazing, everything I ever imagined it to be and more and me & Craig were both pretty sad to be leaving! (already thinking about our next trip!)

There was so much creative inspiration and beautiful places and things, and such a magical happy feeling everywhere, everyone we met was so super friendly and helpful, and the places we discovered were continually breathtaking, Tokyo I loooove you! Here's some of my favourite bits :)

Flying through the sunset on the plane ride out...a complete sea of pastel pink and mint green <3
In the first few days we explored the area we were staying - near Tokyo station, and discovered character street, an incredible street with a shop for every cute character in Japan (AMAZING), there was a Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Studio Ghibli.....if you get excited by such cute things like I do it was a major overdose <3, then our first proper exploring place..Harajuku,
A maze of cute little streets, shops, very cute things and a sea of pink *wahh* <3
Here's a super cute little gallery we found which had lychee drinks and pastel pink graffiti..

One of my absolute favourite shops, which if your going to Tokyo you absolutely HAVE to visit was Kiddyland, floor upon floor of amazing adorable toys and treats....Blythe, disney, pastels, cuteness...all in one building....<3 A wall of Blythe I was faced with....(not sure how I coped)...more Blythe related posting will be following!...

One of my favourite things about Harajuku was just the wondering not sure what gems we'd find, there were shops that were something straight from the set of Virgin Suicides and just pink and pastel prettyness everywhere <3 Here's some cute snippets...

Not far down the road in Ometosando was an exhibition by one of my absolute favourites, Pip & Pop, you can't get more dreamy fairytaleland pastel than this <3 *wahhhh*...

Another incredible toy shop...so packed you could hardly move and about 7 floors high, just a mass of rainbow and sparkles <3...

A cat cafe in Shinjuku, something I'd always wanted to try, there were around 50 breeds of pedigree kitties who come and hang with you while you drink your soya latte <3, some of them were so super cuddly and being the huge cat fanatic I am it was amazing to see so many! The cute little Birman (left) was my fav, he was just so content and cute lolling about :)

Sofia Coppola is probably my main creative inspiration so visiting the New York Bar in Park Hyatt was probably one of the most exciting things we did, pretending we were in Lost in Translation looking at a super beautiful Tokyo skyline and drinking lavender gin...and then...Sofia Coppola Rose! Definitely worth a visit! If you go before sunset (around late afternoon) you don't pay to reserve a table although the drinks are pricey, the magical feeling and the enchanting view of Tokyo skyline is like nothing I've ever seen!..this was my lavender syrup gin....

Part of the view...

Part two will be coming soon! Thinking of starting another little blog with my ideas on a Tokyo guide, what do you lovelies think? Hope everyones having a wonderful week! Lots of Love x x x x
